Frequent Flyer

From the time the fall semester ended in mid-December until mid-January, I apparently decided to do as much traveling as possible.  I absolutely love traveling, but cramming so much into the last month has admittedly worn me out a little bit.  But on the positive side, I have added to my frequent flyer miles, which is always a good thing.  Only 13,000 more and maybe I can get a free flight to, well, probably Memphis.  But anyway, I started by attending a wedding in Savannah in mid-December.  This was my first visit to Savannah and I loved it.  The only downside was that it rained most of the weekend.  My friend Ashley and I are planning a trip to Hilton Head in May, so hopefully I can return to Savannah at that point and enjoy it sans-rain.  After spending 1 or 2 too many days in Corinth for Christmas, I flew to Jacksonville to cheer on the Bulldogs to a Gator Bowl victory! What a great way to ring in 2011! Here are a few of my favorite pics of the weekend

Victory!

After returning to Starkville for about a week, it was time to fly to Las Vegas for the Miss America Pageant!  With Snowmageddon heading for Starkville, we decided to head to Birmingham a day early in hopes of not missing our flight.  It took about 4 hours to get to my sister's apartment in Birmngham (which is usually a 2 hour and 15 min drive), but thankfully, we made it.  And even more thankfully, our flight left the next day right on time!  I'll say 2 things about the flight. 1.  I love Southwest Airlines (this was my first time flying with them) and 2.  The flight to Las Vegas is LONG! 4 1/2 hours. Needless to say, I was more than ready to step off of that plane and into the slot machine-filled Las Vegas airport.  It was an amazing (and exhausting) week! We had the best time supporting Sarah Beth (Miss Mississippi) and are so very proud of her!  Anyway, I won't go into the details of the week in Vegas and the pageant (because that would take forever), but I'll just include a few of my 130 pictures of the week.
